Greensburg Arts Council
Mission, Membership and Meeting Locations:

The Greensburg Arts Council was established in June, 2001 with the goal of developing an organization that would enhance the arts in our area while encouraging community participation.

Our mission is to create cultural activities for all ages, promote our local artisans and provide them with an effective marketing tool.

Membership to the Greensburg Arts Council is open to all persons with an interest in the arts. There are no membership dues required to become a member.

Regular monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 5p CT at Longhunters Coffee and Tea Company.

Each year the Arts Council organizes and participates in various community events, including:

  • Art in the Alley, May
  • Presents the Jane Todd Crawford Story, December 13th each year
  • Historic Homes Tour, April

Other Activities:

The Greensburg Arts Council has paired with the Green County Extension Office to promote the Jane Todd Crawford Quilt Trail.  Information and maps about the Quilt Trail can be found at Greensburg City Hall.

Greensburg Arts Council is Establishing an Art Scholarship Fund in the name of Mary Lou Graham Lingle.  The kick off event for this Scholarship Fund was held on September 28, 2014 at the Woodson Lewis Home in Greensburg.
