The Greensburg Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency in Greensburg and therefore responsible for investigating crimes against persons and property throughout the City. The officers in this department work cooperatively with other law enforcement agencies in their endeavor to solve these crimes. Community involvement is essential for GPD officers to be successful in solving crimes, consequently any information which can be offered to solve a crime is encouraged.
